| Meet the Trainer |

I have always had a strong interest in behavior and in dogs. In 2002 I decided to combine the two
and become a dog trainer. I began a program through Animal Behavior College where I studied under local dog trainers and learned about dog
behavior and various training methods.

A year later I began training my own obedience and puppy classes at PETCO and Just Dogs Playcare. I was also in school to become a Veterinary
Assistant, which is where I met Odie. He was a stray the local Humane Society picked up. I fed him, trained him, gave him a name, and gave him
a home. Shortly after I signed the adoption papers, Odie started acting aggressive towards people and dogs. I knew I would learn a lot from him.
In 2004 I opened Odie’s Obedience. I liked the idea of working with people privately and focusing on one dog at a time. I decided to continue my
education in behavior by attending graduate school at St. Cloud State University. In 2010 I graduated with my Masters degree in
Applied Behavior Analysis.
